What to expect
Wind your way through impressive rock formations as you follow a creek bed to a gorgeous frozen waterfall on this half day hike. Suitable for all levels and a great option for the whole family.​​

We will meet in Nordegg or at the Rockies Heli base for this tour.

Allow an extra 30 min on each end of the tour if you are meeting in Nordegg.

From our meeting location, we will drive to the trailhead just 20

minutes from the heli base.

From the trailhead, we will gear up with micropsikes or snowshoes depending on snowpack, and head out on the trail!
What do I need to bring?
Temperatures can range between -35 and +10 on our winter tours. Be sure to come prepared with:

A winter jacket and snow pants

Layers to keep you warm (long underwear, sweater/fleece)

Winter boots

Winter hat/toque and mittens/gloves.

Sunglasses and sunscreen

Camera

A smile and good attitude!
