Discover the famous Ice Bubbles of Abraham Lake and take off on a mesmerizing helicopter flight above the mountains on this full day adventure! Includes a 1 hour snowshoe experience.

Meet at the Rockies Heli base.​

Soar above the mountains on a 30 min flight, and explore pristine snow on showshoes.

Head back to the heli base for a hot lunch.

Meet your Canadian Rockies Escapes guide, and drive to a bubble hunting location specially handpicked.

Expect a short walk to get onto the ice. From here, explore Abraham Lake, discover the ice bubbles and soak in the grandeur of the Canadian Rockies!

Note: Itinerary is subject to change based on available flight times (ie you may do the ice walk first then the heli tour).
What do I need to bring?
Temperatures can range between -35 and +10 on our winter tours and Abraham Lake is usually windy. Be sure to come prepared with:

Layers to keep you warm (long underwear, sweater/fleece)

Winter boots

Winter hat/toque and mittens/gloves.

Sunglasses and sunscreen

Camera

A smile and good attitude!
What is included
