The wind has been working its magic since the last snowfall & chinook and we are enjoying amazing conditions once again at Preacher's Point, with polished ice and very clear bubbles. Preacher's Point remains the only section of Abraham Lake that is frozen with over 20 cm of ice. Watch for sections of weak ice and open water as there is moving water underneath.

The ice is holding up well after this past weekend's Chinook. Preacher's Point remains the only section of Abraham Lake that is frozen with over 20 cm of ice. There are plenty of great bubbles to be found but it will take a bit of exploring as we now have some cloudy sections to navigate. The wind is blowing and polishing, so the bubbles should be getting better every day. Always watch for sections of weak ice and open water as there is moving water underneath.
